Tasty food, excellent service, and a cool ambiance is the perfect way to describe Nick's. I had a taste for Greek food, and Nick the Greek came highly recommended. My first time here, I ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro. It came like a classic gyro, shaved meat, red onions, French fries, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. From the aroma that came out of my to-go bag, I was sold. I opened it up and the presents was perfect. A nice, well wrapped Gyro, full of flavor! Every bite was heavenly. So many layers in this simple wrap, and it was done right. I can't wait to go back!

I had dinner here with a friend a few days ago. The inside of the restaurant was clean. Service is fast. Food was very tasty. The fries were our favorite but the Baklava did not taste good.

We've been to other Nick the Greek locations and this one was just as good. It was clean, and food came out fast. We ordered the beef/lamb gyro plate and pork belly gyro plate. Each plate came with a salad, rice, pita, and tzatziki sauce, The portions were huge!! It was enough to feed 2 adults and 2 kids. Both meats were flavorful and tender. I preferred the lamb/beef over the pork belly. The pita was super soft and the dip was delicious. Definitely a good addition to the nut tree plaza!

Decided to come here for dinner with the fam... I have gone to the one in Davis but hadn't been to the one in Vacaville. The staff was very friendly.. the place was empty but the take out orders seemed to be going crazy! Don't judge this place by the lack of people sitting down! They were busy... I ordered the beef lamb gyro fries and the beignet... The gyro was delicious! I love the tzatziki sauce! Everything tasted good and was refreshing. The fries were fresh and had a generous amount of salt and pepper which I thought was perfect. Thee beignets were good, maybe a bit too dry even with the sauce... but had good flavor. The inside was mostly clean... someone had spilled soda near the soda machine so that countertop was sticky.. but our table was clean. I think we all agreed to come back... overall a pleasant experience.

My husband ordered the beef/lamb gyro, it was tasty but he was disappointed it didn't come with lettuce & very few tomatoes. I ordered the gyro salad. I probably should have paid more attention to the menu description because it doesn't come with any veggies or feta on it. Thankfully the nice girl behind the counter was more than happy to accommodate & gave me the veggies for no additional charge. Next time ill order the greek salad (add lettuce & gyro meat) which is what i thought i would be getting when i ordered the gyro salad. I think it was just confusing because at other gyro spots when you order the gyro salad thats typically what you get. the pita bread is delicious too. Food came out quick, amazing customer service & the location was clean. My favorite thing was the nick fries. Would go back just for those, honestly. Also the amount of food you get for the price is substantial! Really appreciate that these days when so many other places have been cutting their portion sizes in half.

I will admit to everyone, I absolutely love eating Greek food. And truth be told that this was the first time ever trying out "Nick the Greek". Now I keep wondering why the heck I waited so long to try this place out! The location I am focusing on is in Vacaville at the Nut Tree Plaza which happens to be where they have the legendary No. 5 Train which kids love as well as a huge array of retail shops, restaurants, and other entertainment. If you've seen multiple Nick the Greek locations in various cities, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. This franchise has dozens of locations in Northern California with several locations in Southern California. They also have restaurants in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, and Kansas. At this rate, they are on pace to be the leaders of fast, fresh Greek food with high quality ingredients while delivering exceptional customer service. This location which opened its doors in early-2022 neighbors an Amici's East Coast Pizzeria as well as a Fuji Sushi Buffet. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as this outdoor plaza can fill up quickly during Friday/Saturday evenings and weekends. I ended up coming here during the evening of Saturday 6/17/2023 at around 5:30pm. Much to my surprise, there were no customers in here but it quickly got busy immediately after I arrived. The interior layout of this price is huge with ample seating area throughout. They also offer a decent sized outdoor area for the more comfortable days. The flooring is a sleek faux-wood while some of the most popular Greek foods (gyros, falafel, Souvlaki, feta, etc.) are on two separate giant walls. There is also several large LED screens (which are easy to read even with my so-so eyesight), a condiment station, and a fountain drink area. Since I built up an appetite, I ordered a ton of food for my first ever time eating here. I went with the "Beef/Lamb Gyro" (for $11.95). This mix of meats was seasoned to perfection while including Greek fries, tomatoes, onions, and Tzatziki sauce in a warm pita bread. I also went with a "Chicken Gyro Bowl" (for $12.50) that included basmati rice, romaine lettuce, onions, tomatoes, English cucumbers, feta cheese, and red wine vinaigrette topped with Tzatziki sauce and spicy yogurt. The waiting time on everything was only 8 minutes and the presentation was top notch. But for this being a fairly decent chain, how does this all taste? I will say that both the gyro and the salad far exceeded my expectations. There was an abundance of meat in my gyro while everything tasted as fresh as can be. The salad too had all the amazing ingredients, spices, and seasonings to make what I ordered an exceptional one. All in all, "Nick the Greek" might be new to many but for a place that specializes in quality Greek food and multiple locations, this place definitely hit a home run for me. Customer service was above average, ambiance was wonderful, prices were very good with as much food as you get, and the overall taste/flavor hit all the high notes on my taste palette. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

Customer service isn't consistent. I saw some guest being greeted and others including ourselves not. Place is clean and organized. Food was good. A little fastdoodish but good. Overall I would come back here but might not be a place I crave.

The food was pretty good at this location! The rice was dry for some reason this time but the chicken and veggies were delicious. The fries were also good. Always ask for the mustard!! They put it on the food but I always get some on the side to dip. I've tried other meats but the chicken is the best in my opinion! I came on a Saturday and sat outside since I brought my dog. They have so many seats inside and outside and it's fairly clean. The weather was perfect so I'm glad I sat outside. The staff was really friendly and super fast with my order, Definitely love going here! It's a pretty busy shopping center so if you want to walk around the area before/after your meal, it's a nice area!
